What inspires you?
What inspires me is working with our non-profit partners to help them inspire new donors, renew lapsed donors, and upgrade & retain all donors! I love to use research, data, and connections to help drive positive change. I feel the Key to successful fundraising includes being intentional, creative, and grateful. I also continue to find inspiration in learning something new every day.
Why are you passionate about fundraising with different organizations?
I have been blessed with a variety of meaningful fundraising opportunities and mentors in my career. I am now able to provide J. Milito & Associates clients with access to decades of fundraising success strategies in combination with current research and fundraising trends. We know through research and results that direct telephone outreach can increase charitable giving by 30%, all while strengthen retention and providing opportunities for acquisition. Together, this success formula is one that I continue to be excited and passionate to share.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Decorating/DIY Projects, growing beautiful flowers, and nature/walks with family & dog Mazie
How long have you been with J. Milito?
Project Manager & Fundraising Consultant for 6 years. I came to JMA with twenty plus years of experience of working in the non-profit organizations in West Michigan. I have managed capital campaigns and have direct experience in corporate donor relations, major gifts, annual giving, and strategic fund development.
What is your position at JMA and what do you do?
Vice President, Project Manager, and Fundraising Consultant (contracts and campaign management). I work directly with our non-profit partners and clients and help build and strengthen fundraising programs through telephone outreach and consulting services. Overall, I help build capacity and manage telephone outreach & fundraising campaigns with a variety of civic, community, healthcare, and faith-based schools and seminaries.
What's a fun fact about you?
While working as a development director with an area nonprofit, I was a client utilizing telephone J. Milito fundraising services. I had J. Milito & Associates team help with my Annual Fund, Capital Campaign & Event Sponsorship calls.
Anything else you'd like to add?
I have a teaching spirit, and I feel it is our responsibility to mentor others. I also love to help non-profit organizations build capacity and raise more funds to support their mission and ministry.
